Flu, shingles & Tdap vaccines in Marlborough, MA
Staying up to date on vaccines is one of the simplest ways to protect your health. We offer several common adult vaccines right in our office, and we'll check which ones you're due for at your visits.
Vaccines we offer
- Flu shot — recommended every year for most adults
- Shingles (Shingrix) — recommended for adults 50 and older, given as two doses a few months apart
- Tdap — protects against tetanus, diphtheria and whooping cough; adults need a tetanus booster every 10 years
Good to know about coverage
Most insurance plans cover recommended vaccines, but how they're covered depends on your plan. With Medicare, the flu shot is covered under Part B, while shingles and Tdap vaccines are usually covered under Part D drug plans. Call us and we'll help you check.
Pneumonia vaccines
We don't currently offer pneumonia vaccines in our office. Many local pharmacies do — ask us if you're not sure whether you need one.

Usually, yes. Let us know at your visit and we'll take care of it.
Is the shingles vaccine one shot?
No. Shingrix is given as two doses, usually 2 to 6 months apart.
